The window

February 28, 2009

My husband and I just got back from a 10-day trip in Edinburgh, Scotland.
We rented a flat in a building that is 300 years old. The last evening of our stay the lights were out and I decided to take a picture on my Canon 20D digital camera (without flash) – a picture that would capture the lights of the
surrounding flats. I took the first picture, took a look at it and saw a little bluriness on the bottom right corner, so I took another. Same effect. There were no smudges on the windows after later inspection and no additional light. After viewing the picture I was a little freaked out.

Ghost in the portrait

February 28, 2009

This from the person who submitted the photo….

My family and I visited the Edinburgh Castle on Saturday 5th July 2003 and I took many pictures inside and outside the castle with my digital camera. When I downloaded them onto my computer I found something odd on one of the pictures. I think the picture is of Charles the Second but it looks to me like a ghost of a woman standing beside the king with her hand on his shoulder.

This from the person that kindly submitted the image….

“I had this photograph taken about 22 years ago, it may be of some interest to you with regards to a headless ghost in an army coat. If you can find out any information regarding any details of this ghostly apparition in the photograph I would appreciate it.”smallghost4

Purple lines

February 23, 2009

In 1993 Richard Wiseman and Icelandic parapsychologist Erlendur Haraldsson traveled around India investigating various allegedly paranormal phenomena.

At one point they examined a guru named Swami Premananda in Southern India. Premananda claimed to materialise objects in his hands. During the work they stepped outside and took a Polaroid. There is a purple haze around the group, and a purple dot over some of the heads.
