Ghost of Captain Kidd
April 3, 2009“I live in pittsfield massachusetts berkshire county. for several years i have been searching for captain william kidds cache. i took a photo at 12 at night. of a cave entrance in the complete darkness. first picture showed an orb the second showed this image. my camera stopped functioning after this photo and i needed to buy a new one. it appears to be a head or it appears to be a headless man.”

Ghostly figure
April 2, 2009“I read an article in the Daily Telegraph about your ghost picture studies and immediately remembered two pictures that were taken on Hallowe’en in 2004 in our garden. There was a Hallowe’en party going on, yet no one was walking down the garden (my sister was taking a picture of the house in both instances). Also, no one was wearing outfits similar to those – they almost look like Victorian dress, and I don’t know if it’s my imagination but I think you can almost make out a moustache on his face in picture 5. It’s also strange since it was a childrens’ Hallowe’en party, hence no one would be that tall.”

April 1, 2009Last week we announced that our ‘winning‘ picture was from Tantallon Castle in Scotland. Then, a couple of days ago, we received this……
“I am writing with reference to the photograph taken at Tantallon Castle which was submitted to your “Hauntings” website as part of your recent survey on ghosts. I have attached a .jpg file of a photograph (scanned) which was taken by my mother over 30 years ago. The photograph depicts myself, my brother and my late father at Tantallon Castle. At the time this was taken my mother did not see anyone, or anything, unusual in the window behind us. The figure in the window not becoming apparent until later when the photograph was developed. This image has been the subject of many long debates and discussions ever since amongst family and friends.
After a recent family discussion regarding the striking similarity between the image on your website and the figure in my mother’s photograph, we have decided to forward this onto you for your examination. The original photograph is still in my mother’s possession. ”

JUNE 14 2008 AT NASEBY BATTLEFIELD-We went there on the anniversary of the battle-rumour has it that on the annivesary if conditions are right you can hear or even see the battle being replayed.
Our group were there for about 5 hours,caught the odd orb,it wasnt until couple of days later that suzanne(npg member) was looking at her photos on the computer,that she saw this remarkable image. the naseby ghost soldier.Look at the photo very carefully and in the purple mist in the centre of the photo you can make out 2 ghost horses.The image made the papers and reached international media via the web.still all over the net. would like your view on it.”
