OK, that’s all folks!

A big ‘thank you’ to everyone who was kind enough to send in a ‘ghost’ photograph. We had over 300 submissions and so it simply wasn’t possible to post them all here. Instead, we have chosen the 50 most compelling, interesting and diverse images for the site. We hope that you will enjoy looking at the photographs, and feel free to post some comments and vote. There has been some great discussions so far, and over 140,000 votes. The results of the project will be announced very soon and also discussed at the Hauntings event.

I am sending to you photo of my friend with interesting optical effect. They think, that this photo of ghost, but I many times tried to explain it by physical optical methodology, because I believe ONLY in power of Science. Please help me to explain to my friend.

Water ghost

This from the person who sent it in: Attached is a photo of me (on the right) in a steam at saltburn woods. The photo was took on my friends digital camera during the day time. When i had this picture on my desktop backround my girlfriend noticed the other figure and asked if anyone else was there, which there wasn’t. I zoomed closer and noticed the figure looked like a young boy dressed in grey shorts and t-shirt. And it appeared he was washing his feet or getting somthing off his foot. Although he seems transparent he still has a reflection in the water, Ive never known if ghosts have reflection or not.
